13'6 cataraft?
So, after my shoulder injury and having a love for class IV+ white water I have decided that kayaking may be out of the question due to instability. I have been looking at various types of craft for fishing, drift boats, rafts, and cats. I know the main companies, and have experience with alot of the inflatables, AIRE, sotar, maxxon, NRS, maravia(My favorite). And my buddy tony miely(Owner of 4 corner riversports) suggested a company called Saturn inflatables, a 13'6" set of tubes for $699, go to the local fab shop, buy some aluminum tubing, have a foot brace mounted, order some oar locks, and a couple seats, and get a pair of sawyer pole cats I'd be into a raft easily capable of class IV, be able to fish, and be able to store it as well for about a grand. minus an anchor system for $200 more I can get a 15' set of tubes, but I don't think I really need a raft that big, what do you think?

I'd go for the tubes and it seems you might have the frame figured out. That would make a nice 2 or 3 person cat.

thats what i figured, id set up quick disconnect seats if i wanna boat the big white water, and all. a buddy said 2" o.d fence posts are what he used for the main frame on his jacks plastic welding 12' shredder and he hucks 15-20 footers in it. a 13' could even work ontop of my wagon with my 65" cross bars.(i have seen it before soft filled for short distances)
