Winter Steelheading

Found this video while procrastinating from school. Love the dunking, and the eat footage is incredible...

That was great. But somebody needs to teach that guy what a hookset is.

flick

I think he landed it despite his best efforts. I'd like to fish with him, he fall down more than I do. Great footage on the take.

Nicely Done, Ryan.

The film captures both the beauty of the river scenery, and solitary dedication of a winter steelheader. I'll not call Rich typical, however. His focus is intense. My partner and I had a great outing with him last summer on the NU. One hard-working guide.
Best. Ed F.

He grabbed the leader. That counts as a landing. I heard that someplace.

Damn that is so cool, the best short film I have seen.

I will be fishing there with Rich in 9 days, just what i needed to get excited about the trip.

Just got back from fishing with Rich on the S.F. Of the Smith. Low and clear made it tough, but what a gorgeous float it was. Rich is a cool dude and great guide. The south fork has some pretty wicked rapids, so it made the day interesting.
