In my opinion these boxes are the classics.
Along with Ken's creations.

I have a winter, fall and misc times Wheatley boxes.
Those along with Ken's leather versions are the only fly storage I use now.

How you get the line out and fishing is personal preference so as long as it works and is easy no one should care but the caster. MSB

Don't worry "Capeboy", the chance that the info will get out is paper thin.

I don't think two clip inserts mashing into each other, as they would in that beautifully constructed wallet, would be such a good idea. they'd need a separator.

Yeah, the way you describe it would be bad. But I was thinking that if the leather is stiff enough one could have a leather 'bead' line along the closure flap that would prevent the end of the free flap from collapsing toward the opposite set of clips. Not sure if that is making any sense. Basically, from the looks of that leather (which looks robust) it seems like it would be easy to install something in there to prevent the clips from smashing together with your beautiful flies inbetween.

You will love it.

Clearwater tested-B run approved

It's like a Pimp palace for my Surrey Girl flies!

Mine is a very early, well used and abused version-the new ones I saw at Poppy's last week are STUNNING.

Props to Poppy and Linda over at the RedShedflyshop. That flybook was eating at me. I called Saturday and got the wallet Monday. NICE.

Couldn't figure out how to use my wife's lens properly, but you get the idea with that wallet in the background.

I finally got a chance to tie some flies to put in my new custom fly wallet that Poppy ordered for me. Wallet looks great and the post inside prevents the sides form collapsing on one another.

Thanks Poppy and thanks Ken.
