I really like the colors on the JOD,, and the sleek profile of the floss body. It's a great fly in my opinion. The hook i used is my trusty old favorite,, the AJ 2091 1.5 The wings are a tad short but i'am down to using what is left of my cinnamon turkey and had to make due. Johnny MC to the rescue and the new stock of turkey is on the way!
Hope you like it boys.

If folks would take note of how your dee flies are tied regarding proportions, length of tips, tags, tails, tail veilings, body segments, length of wings, placement of jungle cock and its length, they would learn much about properly tied dee flies. Well done as usual.

Great stuff Dwayne!

Primarily as a respite, but also to quell any beatings, both verbal and physical that come from the feminine co-inhabitor. This, after finding dye, waxes and animal bi-products littered all over the kitchen, as well as the ceiling. A word to the wise.........don't use the good pots. -Myself

Beautiful as expected. At first glance I though the flies on the drying rack in the second picture were blue cheeks. I was like "how in the world did I miss those on the first picture?" Ha!

Ditto on the beautiful tie.

BTW, thanks a lot for posting the top view.

Love that perspective as well, and it helps those of us who are new to the game.
