Silver Brown

Does anybody have the original dressing for the Haig Browns tie, searched the internet to no avail.

hey CR
did a search and found alot ,they seem to narrow down to his book western angler on page 32 .
you can read this article and it has pattern with original materials for pattern.
hope this helps ,looks like a great fly ,thx ,I didnt know brown had his own patterns and I just read 2 of his books,not the right 2 lol

ok ,so wheres the pics of this wonderful fly ,hmmmm
im curious to see how it turned out ,think you have started me on a new adventure,ive read the haig-brown had 19 patterns to his name.
so im thinkin bout finding them and tying all 19.
just kinda like a quest thing.
so im off to find where these 19 patterns may be ,ive read that a man named lingren in B.C has a book ,and they may be there.
if ya find any info drop me a line will ya .

No material call outs though , you will have to use your knowledge of materials to make out the recipe . Wonderful flies !!! I've only tied the Silver Brown and the Golden Girl before , there are a few in that collection that need to be tied
