Wink Tim, so you're aware .. 'be afraid, be very afraid.

Next two of your reels (2-hander and trout sized) in todays mail. Interesting I should just get back from the fly shop with 125 yards of backing in anticipation.

That aside, I've posted the link/my thoughts to the largest UK fly board going. Time to figure out how to 'Ramp up?"

Fred

Great fred I am glad to see it made it over the mountains. Hey if you get the time take a snp hot of the first engraved plate so folks maybe can see, I think it turned out great and I forgot to take a shot of it before I sent it. THANKS

I also have a bit more news to add. The 4" Wide Symmetry Spey Is now sold out and is back to the no money down waiting list. Sorry I tried to keep them in stock BUT, I am back to making more ,and the RIVER 4 1/4" and I am adding a 3" wide to the mix this next time for 6/7 wt single handed rods.

Also a entire new 4" model, two piece, spool handled, telephone latch model as well,, this will a very small first run and the number will start at one again on these . Prices also will be great on these models. I will keep you guys posted, and no doubt you will be some of the first to see them.

I still do have some the 4" Skagit ,4" Summer ,3" Single spey ,and 3 3/4" River Switch models in stock in all finishes. But some finishes and entire models will be sold out soon, no question about it. If you have Christmas money burning a hole in your pocket,, now is the time.

I also will be adding the brass winding plate options on all remaining models soon. Maybe next week.. The 3 3/4" Snake roll with the brass plate Pretty BLing Bling for sure I will post it here so you can have a look when I get the photos ready.

Thanks

"If you build it, they will come."

Sorry if I still sound like a 'High School Cheer,' but Tim's reels are 'Art Work.' Period.

Dozens of reel manufacturer's out there, but one from Tim is a (as the Brits' would say) "A bespoke;" made just for you. Like a custom rod from "The Meis," or Gary Anderson .. just for you. Trust me on this one, there is nothing like having 'just yours' in hand on the river.

But as to Tim's request; will have to 'un-string' a rod and take a photo of the 'inscription,' it really is too cool!!!!, and send him (e-mail) the photo for posting.

Ever have 'something' you just couldn't figure out (hand-holding aside) that 'escaped you?' Mine is posting pictures.

Tim, back at you in a few hours. Up since 0230 and need to get some more 'shut eye.' Between 'not feeling well' and my up at 'zero dark thirty' volunteer job .. I'm pooped.

Have one, and it's just too cool. Takes up to an additional (give or take) week to get your reel, but raises a 'custom reel' to a whole new level.

Ser # 2 Symmetry Spey

I just thought I would put up a picture of my 4" Symmetry Spey. It is serial #2. I have put it to work the past couple of years and it just keeps getting better. I keep meaning to send it into Tim and let him go over it but everytime I box it up I get withdrawl symtoms and it just jumps back out of the box.

The reflection in pic 2 is the light above my kitchen table.

Skilly

Pretty cool Skilly #002.
Hey silver chip, I wanted to post this picture of some of the engraving work that I did for Fred so here you go. Turned out great, I really like reels like this - makes it fun, and someday I hope my work will become part of the U.S. history of spey fishing. After I am long gone and my son takes over the reel business. I am sure that when he sees reels like these posted here he will be thinking "Wow, look at what the old man made on the lathe back in the day... too cool."

I also missed a very interesting call today,, no surprise darn polishing machines are a bit loud. The message stated that a custom hand engraved cage is on the way back to the shop I cant wait to see this thing! I will share the pictures for sure,, and it will be the next custom SpeyCo reel option. Silver Smithed Hand Engraved Cages
