Rare Phillipson 7'6" 5/6 Epoxite trade for spey reel
Rare Phillipson 3M Epoxite glass SH rod. 7'6" 5/6 meaning DT5 or WF6. Very slow, full flex, old fashioned, dry fly rod from 1971 or 72. 2 piece. Excellent condition. Would like to trade for a big reel suitable for an 8wt 13 footer. The bamboo crowd tells me that it is a very desireable rod. They say as a blank only it would be worth around $150 A similar rod sold a while back for around 300. I'm not picky just looking for a serviceable reel. Can email pics.
