Low water, late season winter flies

It is starting to feel like spring around here! The other day I felt like my flies were way to big and scarry for the skinny clear lies. Any suggestions on winter flies for low water late season? Aren't the later season fish a little more weary? Also, any thoughts on getting a little smaller with tippet and any other late season, low water tips?

Thanks!

Can do

I always do. I have seen that it seems to make no difference but for me I switch to burnt orange or golden olive stuff in 2" or so sizing. Cosseboom, Green Highlander, and Irish Shrimp patterns for me

I just cannot huck the MEAT into the low clear stuff
