I'd bet they get more protein chasin' rodents in the hay fields and meadows than in the river... the Ultimate Still-hunter! they are fun to watch!!

Mice

I knew about, but was not aware that they would go after something that big. They hang out in the hay fields around here and it is fun watching them catch the mice. Wish one would take out the mole in our back yard.
