line choices for first TH Rod?

I just bought my first TH rod, a Sage Z-Axis 7110 Switch and I need some help selecting the correct lines for this sweetheart. I've looked online and each site seems to suggest something different so I'd rather ask the people that fish them.

I'm either going to spool these up on a Nautilus CCF 10 or a Hatch 7 plus,

I plan on using the rod a few different ways.

1. Skagit: I've seen sites suggest anything from 300-450 on skagit lines. what have you found works the best for this rod.

2. Versileader sink tips: What lengths and weights work best?

3. Beach casting: I live in Michigan in walking distance of Lake St Clair, plus I spend some time each year in North Carolina fishing either the beach or the brackish waters for reds. I've seen outbound line weights from 7-9wt for this rod and that seems like to large of a range to me.

4. Overhand lines: again I've seen one and two line weights heavier for this rod, 8wt or 9wt. does the rule of two line weights heavier apply for this rod or is that a touch to heavy for it?

Thanks
Keith

Rio Scandi Short Versi Tip #7 = Done

Fish 10' - 15' factory tips, t8 tips to 10'. Comes with factory density comp 10' tips of approx. 75 grains

Try grains over head. Likely a little heavy but, can surf poke well or water haul.

For overhead I go down one body (example a 6 SSVT on 7wt switch) - triangle tapered as is ....... to reverse the head, back to front for Muskie/Pike
