Maritimer

. Designed for Atlantic Salmon fishing in Eastern Canadian waters. The key component in the dressing is the "spearhead" shaped JC nails I used in the tail. The oval or round ones wouldn't have worked. This is heading to my friend who sent me the JC

Lovely tie, Dave

Subdued colours, great profile, I can see this being a real fish taker

Thanks for sharing

Forgive my ignorance Fred...is a gold hook illegal or considered unsportsman like in some states? If so, what's to prevent the tier from using gold tinsel in the body?

No it is not. We do have some regulations regarding hook size and barbs. Great fly, hook color makes it really come together.

Another stunner Dave! I like the large rib. It somehow fits perfectly.
You've got great vision my friend.

Great name! I consider myself a proud maritimer.

Dave
after careful consideration,I've figured it out.
Not only are you totally gifted when it comes to tying flies,
but.....
The real issue here is you ,are an artist.
With quite remarkable skills when it comes to grafting colors to achieve what your after.
I am blessed to have had an opportunity to share in your work.
Thank you
kevin
