Excellent low-water flies. I tie and fish all of them, but the 2 I use most are the SILVER BLUE and BLUE CHARM.

Regarding hooks, I really like the Bob Veverka Classic Salmon Hook made by Daiichi (it is the Daiichi 2131. Alec Jackson also sells this same hook as his Alec Jackson River Dee Low-water Hook). It is an excellent fine wire, low-water hook that is based in large part on the old Sealy low-water hooks. It is available in black, dark blue, nickel, and gold. The only thing I would like to see Daiichi (or Alec or Veverka) do is offer it in size larger than a #2. I'd like to see at least a #1/0 and would prefer to see it offered in #1, #1/0, and #2/0.
