Sauk Silver Silver

A great fishing fly.

Sauk River Silver
Tag and butt - silver thread with crimson floss
Tail - topping with ibis butted with ostrich
body - rear half flat silver tinsel, front half black seal like dub
rib - gold oval
hackle - blue from 3rd turn (middle)
throat - gallina
wing - irridescent blue impeyan with two toppings
sides - grey peacock pheasant and jungle cock
horns - red macaw

With these different wing profiles you learn a lot about using a fingernail press to reshape the topping to the wing profile
