I'm fond of CND rods. I have three of them. My favorite is the 13' 4" Solstice on which I use a 7 wt floater and 450 gn Skagit head when I want to cast sink tips and even weighted flies. I use it year round on most rivers and use it more than any other rod. I use a 12' 2" Spey Tracker 5/6 wt for smaller fish like summer steelhead on smaller streams and larger rivers during low summer and autumn flows. I also have a 13' 8/9 wt Expert series, which is a less expensive rod, but it's a great caster. I'd no doubt use it more if I didn't have the Solstice. Other rods I've used and liked include the Steelhead Specialist and North Fork, but I just don't need more rods, otherwise I'd probably have one or both of those.
