Does anyone own either a Hardy Marquis Disc or Viscount fly reel. If so, I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks, Brian

I own 2 Marquis Disc reels: One number 4 that I use for trout and a number 8 that I use on my single-handed 8wt rod. I love the reels. The drag is smooth as silk. The #8 holds a WF8F and an easy 100 yds of backing. On the Great lakes tribs that I fish, that's plenty. If you have the opportunity to pick one up, I'd say do it.   Barry

Do they have the same sweet song as the Marquis with the click and pawl?

It's not as distinct but it still purrs like a Hardy. Music to my ears.   Barry
