Cellphone photos of my first married wing!

Hey guys!

You know i am without my camera these days, but today a friend came home so i kidnapped his cell phone to shot some photos at this fly. It is my last night tie, after just 3 and half hours i finished my first married wing. I didn't noticed the time until it was finished, it is incredible how time flies when one is having fun

I will post some better pictures (will update this ones in fact) when i get back my camera.

If the body looks a bit strange, well... the floss section is woven, black on the upper part and olive on the lower side (was tying some woven nymphs before tying this fly and while doing that was wondering how would one of tis flies look with a woven body). The throat is red tinamou and the cheeks are red dyed red tinamou neck feathers.

The wing is a bit too large i believe, doesn't matter, this fly will never touch the water it will go to my fly tying history musseum (a.k.a. my room's show case)

Sadly the cell phone was reading the focus area on the background fabric instead of the fly, couldn't get it to fully focus on the fly and ignore the background...

This is me while setting up the fly for the photo session

Thanks for watching!

(Thank you, Leo, for the pictures)

Cheers
Rob

Thank you Rocky.

The mottled fibers in the wing are Ozark Turkey and the dark green are Turkey Wing Quills.

Very nice looking flies my friend. Iam trying to put some of mine on the site. Just got a new camera and for the life of me can't figure out how to get them on. Every time I try and attach the pics it says that it exceeds the size forthe site.

You got any suggestions?
